1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using HourHunt, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. What HourHunt is

HourHunt is a happy hour discovery platform for the Washington, DC area. Deal information comes from venue owners and our team, and is verified by community feedback. We are a discovery service — we do not sell food or drinks, process payments, or act on behalf of any venue.

3. Responsible use

Happy hour deals span food, drinks, and more. Some deals feature alcohol — purchasing or consuming alcohol is subject to applicable laws and to each venue's own age verification, and you are responsible for knowing and following the laws that apply to you. Please drink responsibly and never drink and drive. HourHunt is a discovery service and is not responsible for your conduct at any venue.

4. Your account

You are responsible for your account and everything done with it. Provide accurate information, keep your credentials private, and let us know about any unauthorized use. You may delete your account at any time in Settings.

5. Deals and venue information

Deal details, hours, prices, and availability are set by venues and can change without notice. Community verification ("user verified", "mixed reports", "deal gone bad") is a crowd signal, not a guarantee. Always confirm with the venue before making the trip. HourHunt is not liable if a deal is unavailable, mispriced, or different from its listing.

6. User content

You own the reviews, ratings, lists, and other content you create. By posting, you grant HourHunt a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute that content within the service. Post honestly: no false or misleading reviews, no content you don't have rights to, no harassment, hate, or spam. Anonymous reviews hide your identity from other users but remain subject to these rules.

7. Community conduct

Do not manipulate verification votes or ratings, misrepresent yourself as a venue, attempt to access data or accounts that aren't yours, or interfere with the operation of the service. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

8. Venue owners

Claiming a venue requires that you are authorized to represent that business. Owners are responsible for keeping their deals accurate, posted with truthful menu items and prices, and updated when offerings change. Owners may not review their own venue. We may verify, deny, or revoke venue claims and remove deals at our discretion.

9. Moderation and termination

We may remove content, restrict features, or terminate accounts that violate these terms or harm the community, with or without notice. You may stop using HourHunt and delete your account at any time.

10. Intellectual property

The HourHunt name, logo, design, and software are owned by HourHunt and may not be reproduced or distributed without written permission. Venue names and logos belong to their respective owners.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

HourHunt is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, HourHunt is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app — including reliance on deal information or anything that occurs at a venue.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
